Las Canteras beach is located in the municipality of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It’s one of the most popular beaches on the island and a favourite with the locals.

Las Canteras is a marine life reserve, protected by a natural barrier, known as La Barra which is a rocky reef of great ecological value that protects the beach. Furthermore, the beach is an extension of three kilometres of golden sand that extends along the bay. 

This beach allows you to enjoy surfing, snorkelling, among other activities; visiting it should be one of your priorities.

2. San Felipe

San Felipe beach is located in the municipality of Santa María de Guía. It’s a popular option for surfing and bodyboarding in the north of the island. 

The place combines a small sandy beach with natural pools, ideal for spending the day. You can also explore the mini coves in the area.

3. Guayedra

Guayedra beach is situated near the municipality of Agaete and the large cliffs named Faneque, with an extension of 200 metres, alternating sandy areas and coves.

4. El Puertillo and Los Charcones

5. La Furnia
