We all take care of the Canary Islands

The Canary Islands is our home, a natural paradise that we must protect and preserve. We are aware that the beauty that inhabits every corner of our archipelago must be cared for down to the smallest detail. Therefore, not only as a brand, but also as Canary Islanders, we are committed to the sustainability, preservation and care of our environment.

Commitment to Quality and Sustainability HD Hotels

The current challenges of our society demand organizations with values, committed to the groups of interest that promote the creation of a positive impact on it.

On the other hand, our clients increasingly demand high-value, personalized services that respond effectively to their needs and expectations. At HD we place the customer at the center of our decisions to improve their experience and satisfaction, this being the basis for consolidating a competitive organization.

We recognize diversity and work to promote gender equality, the development of our employees professional skills, working conditions, reduce inequalities and protect the rights of the most vulnerable or disadvantaged people.

We work to reduce the risks of our activities by implementing a preventive culture with permanent surveillence of the compliance of legal requirements, monitoring our environmental aspects and key performance indicators, setting goals to reduce the effects of climate change, protection of biodiversity and expanding HD Hotels' commitment to sustainability towards our supply chain and collaborators.

We promote the digital transformation of our organization to improve customer experience and the development of efficient processes, favouring its continuous improvement in order to deal with current changes in a swift manner.

The management system at HD HOTELS is the reference framework for developing and updating these policies, achieving new goals and business challenges and moving towards improving the competitiveness and sustainability of our organization.

Our hotels implement, audit and certify their commitment to quality and the environment on an annual basis. We have the following certifications:

ISO 9.001, ISO 14.001, Emas, and the recognition of Travelife.

Renewable energies

We are committed to clean energies such as the air we breathe in the Canary Islands. We are committed to nature and the activities in it in order to raise awareness about the care of the natural beauty that lies in the archipelago.

Conscious use of water

We are aware of the impact of tourism in the Canary Islands and the effect on the aquifers of our islands. That is why we assume our role by applying responsible use measures, using recycled water for irrigation and filtering measures to improve water quality.

Minimising our carbon footprint

Reducing the emissions generated by our hotels is one of our goals for 2023. Each hotel is committed to implementing actions to curb climate change, including: significant recycling processes, the use of biodegradable products in our processes, or limiting the use of plastics in our services.

Sustainable innovation

We work to improve all our production processes, as well as to improve the conditions of our workers, innovating from marketing to customer relations.
