For a long time my husband and I have been looking for a destination where we can disconnect and enjoy our hobbies. We are passionate about sports, from cycling to scuba diving. We wanted to experience new sensations in a different environment that we had never seen before.
Searching for destinations, we found Lanzarote. A small island in the middle of the ocean characterised by its volcanic soil. Once we chose the place, we looked for hotels with a high offer in sports, and we found the HD Beach Resort & SPA. It is a beachfront accommodation where you have the possibility to enjoy many activities, practice sports, relax, take care of yourself in the spa, and go at your own pace. We were right!
Visiting the hotel's website a few days before travelling, we came across the HD Hotels SenseConnect experience guide, where we could see thousands of recommendations, plans, excursions and places to visit on your own. They didn't sell you anything, they just told you where to go, what to do, what sports to do and where on the island you could do it.
We stayed in Lanzarote for 5 days and enjoyed ourselves like children. We loved the island; the places, the people, the colours, the landscape... everything!
The route through Haría was wonderful, we also visited the Timanfaya National Park, the Jameos del Agua, the Papagayo Beach... an endless number of experiences that left us speechless.
The HD Beach Resort & SPA staff provided us with all the facilities possible, from leaving our bikes in the Bike Box to booking an early morning yoga session or paddle surfing with their own equipment.
In addition, we were able to relax sipping cocktails on the hotel terrace watching the sunset and enjoying a couple's moment in the spa, experiencing what they call "true Body & Soul''.
Highly recommended for couples and friends alike. Without a doubt, it has been a success, and we will repeat with all our cycling team.
